Red Pears

In Red Pears, Alvi Siren brings the viewer close to a fruit tree heavy with ripening pears. The composition is tightly cropped, allowing the fruit, leaves, and branches to fill almost the entire canvas. Rather than observing the tree from a distance, the viewer appears to be looking directly into its abundant growth.

The pears are painted in vivid shades of coral, crimson, rose, and deep red. Their rounded, simplified forms overlap across the composition, creating a strong visual rhythm. Dark contours give each pear definition, while restrained highlights suggest the weight and fullness of ripe fruit.

A sweeping branch crosses the upper part of the painting before dividing into smaller stems.
